City Of Columbus Expanding Summer Meal Program

According to Radio.Wosu.com, Only 10 percent of eligible children in Columbus have access to free summer meals. Columbus City Council on Monday is set to approve funding to expand the city’s summer meal program to help bridge the gap.
The site is set to reach 700 children and will offer a variety of food options that are kid-friendly. This summer they will be expanding to 4 open locations with the expectations for keeping track of matching the food with the child.
