Concealed Carry Instructor Offers Rules of the Road

Many people have their conceal to carry license, but do you know the “rules of the road?” It’s more important than ever to know how to inform officers that you have your weapon accessible. We must be extra cautious and safe out here in these streets.

He’s spent his career teaching people how to protect themselves. Now as a concealed carry instructor, Brian Shearin is reminding those who carry licensed weapons what to do if pulled over by police.

Shearin says after a week of gun tragedies nationwide, he hopes all concealed carry owners review Ohio Revised Codes on how to handle traffic stops.

“The first thing that I would do is roll the windows down so that we have clear communication so that the window is not blocking. The Ohio Concealed Carry manual says do to so,” Shearin said.
